Recommended Operating Temperature
The recommended maximum operating temperature for Klamflex products is 90ºC when standard EPDM gaskets are used. Please contact Klamflex Pipe Couplings for higher operating temperatures.
Temperature Fluctuations
If temperature fluctuations occur, further re-tightening of the bolts may be required.
Maintenance-Free Operation
For this reason, where maintenance-free operation is required, Klamflex couplings are not recommended for central heating systems, which do not operate at constant temperatures.
