SOCKET STEEL FITTINGS
KLAMFLEX Socket Steel Fittings are available in all types of steel fittings such as Bends, Tees, Reducers, and Crosses, and are manufactured by welding half a KLAMFLEX Coupling to the ends of a steel fitting. Bolts and nuts and not studs are used in the couplings, this ensures easy replacement of damaged fasteners. KLAMFLEX also makes use of a profile plate and not lugs that are welded to the steel fitting to accommodate the tightening process. Installation is effected by simply inserting the plain ended pipe into the KLAMFLEX Pipe Coupling and tightening the bolts. The use of these fittings will result in significant cost savings as only one piece of equipment is being purchased instead of separate fittings and couplings.
